Terry Baucher

Terry works almost exclusively with high net worth individuals and the owners of medium sized and emerging businesses. He has over 20 years experience advising such clients and their advisers on a broad range of issues. His aim is to provide clients with holistic, practical and robust solutions.

Terry has worked as a tax specialist in New Zealand since 1993. Prior to founding Baucher Consulting Limited he spent six years with a "Big Four" accountancy firm including a period in Sydney advising Australian businesses on how to do business in New Zealand and three years as an associate at a specialist tax consultancy firm. Before moving to New Zealand Terry worked as a tax specialist in the UK for nine years.

Terry has a law degree from Manchester University and is a member of the Taxagents Institute of New Zealand, the British Chartered Institute of Taxation and of the London based Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP). In March 2010 he was elected to the council of the Taxagents Institute of New Zealand. He is a regular speaker at tax conferences and client seminars.
